I hope Mr. Gallivan would be as intelligent as you were and apply his shareholder value building abilities leveraging the Open Source value Pentaho gathered. All in all, it was the Open Source factor plus the solution over tools vision and nothing else that led so many people to get known and love Pentaho over so many me-toos in the proprietary software marketplace.

As for Serpro, having an Open Source product like Pentaho as a very good alternative to MicroStrategy and Informatica has helped us in adopting it.

Good luck in your knew position! I hope now that your are going to be closer to customers (and Serpro is acquiring some EE licenses) you may come here see how we like Pentaho.]]></description>
